spectacular sunrise of May-15th

At 5-15 AM the sky was a shade of bluish-grey. A hint of red clouds just above the horizon. Clouds at dawn are a sign of drama. Quickly my mobile phone was mounted on a stand and set to time-lapse photography. On the side the tripod mounted DSLR also came into action capturing these wonderful scenes.

Two friends who saw these pictures came up with two poems. The Kannada lines poet is Srinivas K from Bhadravati.

ನೋಡಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾನಲ್ಲಿ,

ಶಶಿಯನ್ನು ಪಕ್ಕಕಿರಿಸಿ ಇಣುಕುತಿಹನು ರವಿ..

ಇರುಳ ಕತ್ತಲ ಸರಿಸಿ,

ಹಗಲ ಬೆಳಕನೊತ್ತು ಉದಯಿಸುತಿಹನು ರವಿ||

ಮುಂಜಾನೆ - ಮುಸ್ಸಂಜೆ , ಹಗಲು - ಇರುಳು,

ಇವುಗಳು ದಿನಕರನ ದಿನಚರಿಯ ಭಾಗ..

ಸುಖದ ಸಂತೋಷ, ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯ ಸಂತಸ,

ಸದಾ ಇರಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಬಾಳಲ್ಲೂ,

 ಈ ಸವಿ ಯೋಗ।।
