AIR goes silent for the first time

I thought AIR had changed the frequency until I read Deccan Herald Wednesday morning.

Fot the first time in 55 years the radio waves fell silent acoss the state with the All India Radio going off teh air on Tuesday, reports DHNS from Bangalore. Reason: All employees of AIR went on a strike seeking a repeal of the Prasarbharathi Founders Day.
