Honeybees of March 2024

After a long wait, our buzzy friends moved into our balcony on Mar-16th afternoon. This photo was shot minutes after they moved in, the construction of new honeycomb had begun.

Usually bees stay at one location for three months. Our bees moved out on July 6th which happened to be a new moon day.

Here's a close up of the honeycomb. Perfectly formed cells of same size. Amazing creation by those marvelous creatures!
