This five petalled yellow flower is known by several names such as Yellow Alder, Yellow Buttercups, Sage Rose, and Cuban Buttercup. Its scientific name is Turnera ulmifolia. The plant has dark green serrated edge leaves. This is one of the few flowers which is used in Hindu temple rituals.
