battle in the sky

These are few pictures taken on April-23rd between 6-30 and 6-55. Dark clouds gathered over Dharwad around 6-15 pm. As I shot, a thunderstorm was active in the southern direction, probably over Hubli-Dharwad bypass road. The clouds swirled around as though they were in a battle. After an hour or so wind speed reduced, the clouds had scattered, it didn't rain over the city. Rain cooled stream of air blew in from the southern side, making the weather pleasant.

Morning sky in golden light

Sept 21st morning- mist descended on Dharwad. Day was hot and hunid.

Sept 22nd early morning- heavy thunder storm, rain poured for almost 3 hours nonstop. Air was fresh & clear free from dust. Golden light from the rising Sun bathed the remaining clouds and a wonderful rainbow formed on the western sky.
