FreeCell

The only card game I know in which all 52 cards are open-faced in the starting. You have one million games- 0 to 1000000 -to choose from.

The objective is to move all the cards to the home cells (on the right side), using the free cells as placeholders (on the left side). Make four stacks of cards on the home cells, one for each suit, stacked in order of rank, from Ace to King.

Before you make your first move, look for trouble spots such as aces hidden at the tops of columns or low-numbered cards stacked behind higher-numbered cards.

Try to keep your free cells unoccupied as much as possible. Empty columns are also valuable.

What I like about the game is that every game a unique challenge. Some games are very easy, we can win some in on try and some games are tough to crack. I feel FreeCell helps us get the skill of untangling messes. Actually I connected it to work... resource management. At one point of time I got addicted and created a spreadsheet to monitor the games I won. It's a fantastic game and youngsters should b encouraged to play this regularly.
